Do Not Buy APPLE IPHONE 14 (PLUS) Before Read Our Important Disadvantages and Advantages Review

Apple release several iPhone 14 family on Sept 2022. Now we will talk about pros and cons of APPLE IPHONE 14 and APPLE IPHONE 14 PLUS. Please note, we are not saying that this is bad product, but we will give more information from our point of view. Of course Apple try to give more advantages when they released this phone.

 

Some disadvantages possibilities of APPLE IPHONE 14 (PLUS) :

• Cons of APPLE IPHONE 14 (PLUS) does not have external memory slot for MicroSD. This is usual standard of iPhone storage. All installed apps and data will be keep inside internal storage 128 GB or 256 GB or 512 GB.
• Drawback of APPLE IPHONE 14 (PLUS) battery is not removable. This is also normal to have non removable battery because this phone has 7.8 mm body thickness. Usually the battery will drop about 2 or 3 years of usage, at this time we have to consider replace with original battery at Apple authorized service center.
• Demerit of APPLE IPHONE 14 (PLUS) does not have 3.5 mm headphone jack. We have to use Bluetooth or 3.5 mm jack converter to connect with headphone or external audio devices.
• APPLE IPHONE 14 does not have big improvement if compare with previous version IPHONE 13, although this phone has several new features, but it is not very good idea to replace iPhone 13 with iPhone 14.

 

 

Pros & Cons of APPLE IPHONE 14 (PLUS) Screen Review :

The screen is use XDR OLED Super Retina display. Of course if has high-end smartphone LCD screen features to enhanced the display performance with Dolby Vision and HDR10. The screen has 1200 nits peak brightness for support better white balance.

APPLE IPHONE 14 screen size is 6.1 inches with 1170 x 2532 pixels resolution and APPLE IPHONE 14 PLUS screen size is 6.7 inches with 1284 x 2778 pixels resolution. Both screen are protected with Scratch-resistant ceramic glass and oleophobic coating. We still can find notch on the of the screen for front camera and sensor.

 

Pros & Cons of APPLE IPHONE 14 (PLUS) Processor Review :

Disadvantages of processor hardware does not have improvement with previous version. APPLE IPHONE 14 and APPLE IPHONE 14 PLUS use same processor with Apple A15 Bionic that work with 5 nm technology for battery efficiency. It has total Hexa Core CPU that has max speed up to 3.23 Ghz Avalanche. For support playing better games, it has 5 Core Apple GPU (graphic processor unit). But this processor still have better performance for running all applications and games using APPLE IPHONE 14 (PLUS).

 

Pros & Cons of APPLE IPHONE 14 (PLUS) Camera Review :

There are dual camera lens that we can find at back side body with 12 megapixel f/1.5 for wide angle with sensor shift OIS (optical images stabilization) and 12 megapixel f/2.4 for 120 degree ultrawide. Front camera resolution is 12 megapixel f/1.9 with auto focus with TrueDepth performance.

The main camera has big sensor size for getting better brightness at low light situation, because it is also optimized with big aperture number f/1.5. We can record movie up to 4K at 60fps or 1080p at 240fps. They have several mode such as Dolby Vision HDR at 60fps and Cinematic Mode that can work up to 4K at 30fps. If we want to get sport video recording with a lot of movement, then Action Mode is ready to use with electronic images stabilization performance.

 

Is APPLE IPHONE 14 (PLUS) worth to buy ?

Although this phone still use same processor Apple A15 Bionic that was use on iPhone 13 family, but we also get some new feature with better thermal performance to reduce the overheat when playing games or doing heavy operations with APPLE IPHONE 14 (PLUS). We can get good photos result with dual 12 megapixel rear cameras and 12 megapixel front camera. They have good night-shoot and low-light photos performance. Recording movie with APPLE IPHONE 14 (PLUS) also fun with 4K optimized camera.

The most important feature is SOS satellite emergency call that can use when we do not get any GSM network provider signal. We can use SOS emergency call to contact our friend or family by sending text message. This features is free for two years for anyone at USA and Canada. We will wait for other area that available with this feature. APPLE IPHONE 14 (PLUS) already use eSIM technology, therefore we do not need to use ordinary SIM card from network provider.

This phone also has good battery life. It has Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 6 hardware. With many features and several internal memory options like 28 GB or 256 GB or 512 GB internal storage to choose with different selling price, then APPLE IPHONE 14 (PLUS) is worth to buy.
