XIAOMI 12S PRO design with 6.73 inches LCD screen size with 1440 x 3200 pixels resolutions and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen type use LTP AMOLED and also has Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Some users want to know more about bad or good inside XIAOMI 12S PRO.

Some disadvantages possibilities of XIAOMI 12S PRO :

  • Disadvantages of XIAOMI 12S PRO does not have external memory slot for MicroSD. This phone try to give good performance when running any applications, therefore every apps will be keep inside internal storage that is more faster than MicroSD.
  • Cons of XIAOMI 12S PRO battery is not removable. This is high-end smartphone with 8.3 mm body thickness, therefore having removable battery cover will not good idea. The problems will happen when the battery get troubles or end of life. We can not replace easily. We suggest to bring to Xiaomi authorized service center for replace with original battery.
  • Drawback of XIAOMI 12S PRO is not water resistance. Please do not bring this phone to swim or do not wash this phone with water and soap to clean any viruses.
  • Disadvantages of XIAOMI 12S PRO does not have 3.5 mm headphone jack. We have to use USB-C to 3.5 mm jack converter when we want to connect with old style headphone or external audio devices. We also can use Bluetooth for audio connection.
  • This phone has high-end performance, but we are not happy with under display optical fingerprint sensor. Most users get slowly troubles when we want to unlock using our finger. We suggest to remove all 3th party screen protection or tempered glass. We should only use default scratch resistance Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

We can run many applications with peak performance because it has high speed CPU up to 3.19 Ghz. We also can get better battery efficiency that work with quad core 1.80Ghz Cortex A510 for simple applications.

    We can use 5G or 4G LTE connections depend on availability. The 5G can transfer data up to 10 Gbps on maximum and ideal condition, but on most locations we will get less then 10 Gbps. Of course we can use fast WiFi access, because it has WiFi 6 connection that work more faster then 802.11ac. But this phone also supported for old access point with 802.11a/b/g/n.

    The advantages of XIAOMI 12S PRO camera is having powerful camera sensor from Sony with Sony IMX 707 and powered by Leica lens. Main rear camera has three lens with 50 megapixel for wide, 50 megapixel for 2x optical zoom and 50 megapixel for 115 degree ultrawide. It has good performance when shoot at night. The night shoot will produce low noise photo on all situations.
